A practical perspective.

Change starts with the life you have.

My background includes multi-site health, safety, facilities and operational leadership across engineering, manufacturing, construction, higher education, property and energy.

Those settings bring different pressures. They share the need for clear thinking, sound decisions and people who feel able to take responsibility.

That experience informs how I coach: calmly, thoughtfully and with respect for the realities of working life. I will help you examine options, challenge assumptions and turn reflection into practical action. The decisions stay with you.

Clarity → Change → Confidence

The NTL Method

01 / Clarity

What matters now?

Step back, recognise what no longer fits and identify what you want your next chapter to give you.

02 / Change

What could I do next?

Compare realistic options using CHOICE, consider the trade-offs and test a manageable next step.

03 / Confidence

How do I keep moving?

Use REFLECT to learn from action, recognise progress and build confidence from what you have done.

Supporting tools

Thoughtful structure.
Your own decisions.

CHOICE

Compare options against the whole life you want, beyond salary or job title.

C — Compensation

Does this option meet the financial realities and rewards I need?

H — Headroom

Is there room to grow, develop, progress or create more freedom?

O — Options

How much control would you have over how, when and where you work — including hours, hybrid working and autonomy?

I — Interest

Am I genuinely interested, curious and energised by this direction?

C — Connections

What people, relationships, networks and opportunities does this involve?

E — Everyday Life

How would this choice actually fit the life I want to live day to day?

REFLECT

Build confidence from what you do next, and what you learn from it.

R — Recognise where you are

What is actually happening now?

E — Examine what is really holding you back

What is underneath the hesitation?

F — Face the fear honestly

What are you afraid might happen, and how likely is it?

L — Learn from the past, but do not live there

What can you take from past experience without letting it define the present?

E — Explore your options

What else could you do, say, ask or try?

C — Commit to one small step

What is the smallest useful commitment?

T — Take action today

What can you do before the day ends?

Your next chapter

Bring the question.
It doesn’t have to be a clear one.

We’ll talk about what’s happening, what you’d like to be different and whether coaching could help. You choose what happens next.
